"Ordeal by Innocence" was broadcasted last week in Canada on CBC. American schedule is set for 5th August, still no date announced for Italy yet. At least we know it should be shown on Rai1 as "Le due verità". You can watch some videoclips on Richard Armitage's fansite: click here. Lisa is simply brilliant! :) |

Lisa has a role in John Maybury’s love story "The Edge of Love" (formerly known as The Best Time Of Our Lives) starring Keira Knightley, Sienna Miller, Cillian Murphy and Matthew Rhys, coming out next year. The drama tells the story of Welsh poet Dylan Thomas and his relationship with his wife Caitlin, his childhood friend Vera and her husband William Killick. Thomas had a complicated relationship with each that influenced his life and poetry. Knightley's mother, Sharman Macdonald, wrote the screenplay. Principal photography has started on location in Wales before moving to locations in London and Pinewood Studios. (read more) Enjoy these exclusive pictures of Lisa on the set (filming in New Quay, West Wales, Britain - 14/15 May 2007): "Ordeal by Innocence" will air on CBC in Canada on 3rd June at 8.00 pm. It will be shown later in the year on ITV1 in the UK, on PBS in the USA and on ABC in Australia. |

Miss Marple episode "Ordeal by Innocence" is being released on DVD edition on June 11, 2007 and it's already possible to pre-order it on Amazon. Lisa plays the part of Mary Durrant. (thanks to Patrizia for the news!) The news about her appearance in "Nemesis" was wrong, Lisa had to give up the part because of her mother's passing, so she was engaged for the next episode. |

A troll and an elf save
the world. Lisa Stansfield speaks and sings. British singer Lisa
Stansfield and actor Mackenzie Crook (“Pirates of the Caribbean”) are to
lend their voices to characters in the new animation film called “Quest
for a Heart”. The film tells the story of a troll called Rolli who has to
find a magical heart in order to save the world from danger. The predicted
disaster is a curse that turns everything into stone. The beautiful she-elf
Millie, who represents everything the trolls hates, will help Rolli in his
quest. The film is produced by Finnish Matila Rohr Productions Studios and
its budget totals 6 millions Euros. Approximately 150 artists from Moscow
worked on “Quest for a Heart”, which is a traditional animation. About 700
thousand drawings and sketches were made for the film. Jannee Copu is in
charge of the visual side of the movie. Lisa Stansfield will not only lend
her voice to Millie but she will also perform the main song from the
movie. [souce:

I'm very glad to present you the first fanlisting dedicated to our Lisa. A lot of artists have it, so I though: why not Lisa?? It took me a lot of time and patience to make it so I hope you enjoy it. A fanlisting is simply a little site listing all fans from every country (or better... All around the world!! XD) You don't need to have a website, you just have to love Lisa, and it takes just a few minutes to become a member. Waiting for you to join!! Link: http://lisastansfield.altervista.org/fanlisting |

Let's start the new year with some "by/for others" curiosity, meaning Lisa's songs covered by someone else and collaborations between Lisa and other artists. A German acoustic jazz band called [re:jazz] made a wonderful cover of "People Hold On" in October '06. Visit www.rejazz.de to watch the live performance. In 1998 Lisa wrote the music of "Nei Sogni Miei", sang by an other Lisa, but Italian. The mp3 is finally available on Lisa official website. And finally I remember there was a discussion in the official forum regarding a young act having the honor to work with Lisa and Ian. Well, maybe it was a singer called Terry Walker. Check out new video of the month. I've uploaded "The Line", in case someone of you miss it. Such a beautiful video (a great pity it was not included into Biography video collection). New addiction in the jukebox too: "People Hold On" (New Jersey Jazz mix). |
